The sea cliffs are home to an RSPB bird reserve and the start of Wainwright&rsquo - s Coast to Coast walk.

The award winning village of St Bees has an 11th century priory and a general store and indoor swimming pools are at the nearby towns of Egremont and Whitehaven. The Georgian towns of Whitehaven and Cockermouth are within easy driving distance the Lake District National Park is 6 miles away and Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass-Eskdale Miniature Railway are 14 miles away.
