Just 2 miles away is the attractive town of Newent whilst close by are numerous golf courses fishing facilities and tennis.

The lodge was modern, well decorated and we felt very welcome. Lovely flowers and fruit on arrival, we felt very private and it was really quiet and peaceful.

A very nice location for Gloucester Docks, Ross on Wye etc, a very peaceful location and lovely for walks.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay - we have stayed here numerous times now and we are never disappointed. The lodges are always very clean and tidy and the owners are always friendly and happy to see us back again. Our dog always has a great time as well and it is nice to find somewhere to stay where they welcome dogs.

The standard of the accommodation was excellent. Everything you needed was there. The attention to detail in the welcome was fabulous down to a bowl of fresh fruit and a vase of fresh flowers in the lodge to welcome you. It was altogether a lovely holiday.

A scenic, beautiful location with first class accommodation. The owners are extremely attentive and were very helpful when I arranged a surprise 60th birthday party for my husband. Nothing is too much trouble and we will definitely be going again. Very dog friendly.

We love the place. The staff and owners are so nice, so friendly and you feel more like a family friend than a customer. We have recommended this site to some family members and they loved it too. We have been several times now amd cannot find any faults. We are so impressed that we send the owners a thank you card every time we have visited!

The location for our holiday was great - it was near to a town with all amenities, the local pubs had good food at reasonable prices. The local places to visit were good with plenty of things to do.

This park is lovely and the lodges are spacious and with all the essentials and comforts you could want. The location is very central for the Forest of Dean, Malvern Hills and many lovely villages, all you need for a very enjoyable holiday.

If you want to stay in a quiet and peaceful location where the only sounds are those of the birds outside, this is the place to book. The lodges are fully equipped with all that you need, and the location is excellent for visiting the Forest of Dean, Wales, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. I can fully recommend this park from our recent visit!

Ford Farm Lodges was perfect for our quiet, winter weekend away. The lodge itself was very well equipped - a home from home. We had a very relaxing and restful weekend and will certainly visit again if we get the chance.

We loved going to the Forest of Dean and being able to have accommodation where we could easily take our dogs. Some nice little extras like a bowl of fruit and a vase of flowers were much appreciated, as well as the overall friendliness of the staff and their recommendations for places to walk the dogs round the local lanes. It says something when two rather nervous rescue greyhounds settle down so well! Excellent leaflets of local attractions and recommendations for local places to eat - we had a superb quiet long weekend!

This is an ideal location if you are seeking a quiet, peaceful rest and a base with plenty of sights to visit.
