We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Queenshill. The lodges were very good value for money, clean and comfortable, and the surroundings were outstanding with an abundance of wildlife. The highlight of our holiday was to have two deer appear in our back garden - so close to the lodge! We would not hesitate to revisit as there is so much yet to see and explore in the area.

This was our second visit. Great value for money and we would not hesitate to return to this accommodation if we return to this area.

The location was very peaceful and relaxing and the accommodation was very clean and tidy, and had everything we required for our stay. We were also able to bring our pet dog along which was very helpful.

This is a perfect location for peace and quiet and a time to chill out. It is a very good spot to travel to other places from and only about an hour from Gretna Green. There are plenty of things to see and do.

The log cabin was in some lovly countryside and it was very quiet. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and we had a lovley stay and would use again - thankyou.

We had a lovely break at Queenshill Lodges. The location was beautiful - such a peaceful and idyllic spot, adn the lodge was well equipped and comfortable. We would unhesitatingly recommend it and would certainly have a return visit!

This has to be one of the most tranqil spots in the country. If you are looking for peace and relaxation then look no further.

An excellent choice of a break for hiking over hills and forest and coastal trails. The amount of wildlife observed was outstanding and the accommodation was very clean, warm, quiet, and friendly to come home to after a whole day out trecking. We intend to return to this park later in the year as a one week break is insufficiant.

This holiday is a must for peace, quiet and relaxation. Situated outside the hustle and bustle of the main town, in acres of natural surroundings and ideal for children. This holiday cannot be improved in anyway - it was simply perfect!

Positioned in the perfect location just outside Castle Douglas with gorgeous scenery and tranquil settings. Ideal for golfers with a wide variety of stunning courses and also horse riders. The lodges are very comfortable with all you need - its like home from home. We are planning to go back later this year in place of our main holiday we loved it that much! It was perfect for me and my partner.

Starting the day in a cosy lodge looking out at frost-covered grass and conifers - so begins a day of tranquility, beauty & relaxation. Does it for me every time!

The holiday is EXCELLENT value for money. The lodge is clean and tidy and has a good kitchen area. There are numerous walks around the lodge. I would recommend this holiday for anyone wanting peace and quiet.

We have travelled to this park twice this year and stayed in the same lodge. It is value for money with plenty to do, no matter of age, or for families to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas.

Castle Douglas is particularly suitable for sightseeing and for relaxation. The location is very quiet and peaceful with lots of space between each lodge giving plenty of privacy. The owner was very pleasant and helpful as were the rest of the staff.

This is one of the most relaxing and peaceful breaks we have been on, nothing could have been better - PERFECT!!
