Children of all ages will love the acres of safe playing space including a play area and the woodland is home to a variety of wildlife such as squirrels buzzards and deer. A small fenced off lake stocked with rudd tench and carp provides hours of fun for fishing enthusiasts and dogs also enjoy their own specially designated 2 acre field for exercising.
Located on the North Cornwall/North Devon borders Eastcott Lodges is an ideal base from which to explore the region. The popular seaside resort of Bude is only 14 miles away whilst the nearest beach at Widemouth Bay is located just 10 miles from the lodges. The coastline here is spectacular and there is a choice of beaches popular with families surfing enthusiasts and for those keen to experience the breathtaking scenery whilst walking the South West coastal path. There are also many historic and picturesque coastal villages to discover such as Port Isaac Padstow Boscastle and Tintagel. The area also boasts a wide range of theme parks and farm attractions to visit whilst the rugged and dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are also easily accessible.

Eastcott Lodges is a lovely, peaceful place to stay, both for families and couples wishing to get away from the hustle of everyday life. The new owners were very welcoming and friendly, and it was an excellent holiday which we will be returning to in the future!

I would recommend this holiday for the peace and quiet and great facilities and nearness of wonderful Cornish resorts i.e. Bude and Boscastle.

Ideally situated with plenty of beautiful scenery and coastal paths to explore and there are amenities close by (i.e. Morrisons). Very good value for money, if you like peace and solitude in the evenings this is the place and it is very dog friendly.

This accomodation is perfect as a base for sightseeing of the region. We travelled all over Devon and Cornwall from here and had a wonderful experience. The lodges are clean and very well equipped.

My partner and I were looking for a last minute, rushed, weekend away, where we could take the dog and relax away fromnormal life. From start to finish our experience was pleasant, it was simple and easy to book and completely stress free. On arrival it was exactly what we had wanted, well furnished accommodation set in wonderful surroundings and not too far away from town and city life if needed. We will be coming back here again and have already recommended it to others.
