Site Description for Hoseasons Bulworthy Forest Lodges - In an idyllic setting surrounded by an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity these secluded lodges are nestled in 25 acres of woodland and boast five well stocked fishing lakes. Situated between the North Devon towns of Bideford Barnstaple and Torrington the lodges are set down a picturesque tree lined woodland drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest and offer the perfect environment for a relaxing and memorable holiday. There is a sandy beach just 5 miles away with shops and a pub within 4 miles.
Enjoy the free carp and coarse fishing available. The beautiful surrounding woods invite leisurely rambles and are home to an abundance of wildlife and a variety of flora and fauna.
Due to the steep gradients and steps Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

We had a lovely, romantic trip away to celebrate our anniversary. The hot tub made it an extra special location. We felt that we had found a real hide-away from the rest of the world in such a secluded spot.

Our visit to Bulworthy Lodges was excellent, we couldn't have asked for more. As long as you have a car to get around then there is loads to see, then when you get back to your lodge you have peace and quiet, with beautiful scenery - and a hot tub to help you to relax! The accommodation was brilliant, the facilities were excellent and it was very clean.

The lodge was beautiful, spacious and clean and the tranquil setting was absolute bliss, so peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking down at the lake you had a "Snow White" experience with the squirrels, blackbirds and wildlife all around you - absolute heaven!

A fantastic getaway break in wonderful surroundings. We actually live locally but felt we were miles from home with the peace and tranquility. We will definitely return and will highly recommend this log cabin in the woods.

Peaceful and quiet and the log cabin is lovely, very spacious and clean and the hot tub added a touch of luxury.

I found this park out of the blue whilst looking on the net, and I am glad I did as it is gorgeous. A super view, great lodges, the kids loved it and so did we. A very relaxing few days and we have already booked up for next year - 10/10 !

We have just returned home from a fantastic four day break at Bulworthy Forest Lodges, we stayed in The Chestnut Lodge and our friends had the Larches, we had a wonderful time.
The lodges are fully equipped with everything you need, very clean and tidy and all the bed linen and towels smelt lovely. The overall setting was just beautiful, so quiet and peaceful - we had seven children in our party and they were never short of things to do. The great hot tub was used every day, just perfect - we will be booking again for next year, 6 stars!

My friends and I had an amazing, relaxing weekend away. We went for long walks around the surrounding countryside, had BBQ's and sat outside admiring the stunning views. We will definitely return later in the year!

Our lodge (Chestnut) was beautiful - an lovely and sunny elevated position overlooking the lake, very spacious, with a seperate fully covered hot tub which was idylic. The owner popped in to say hello and to check everything was OK - nice friendly man who obviously cares about his properties. The forest setting is so peaceful and feels very secluded. We had a wonderful time!!

if you want total peace and relaxation bulworthy forest is the place to go. It rained the whole week we were there and it didt matter. this place prooves that you dont need all the fancy trimmings to have a good holiday.

If you like peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings then this holiday is for you - with seaside resorts not too far away it really has something for everyone. We loved every minute, and it went too quick!

I would recommend this holiday we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The surroundings were very nice and within easy reach of lots of interesting places.
