We would like to say a BIG thank you to Richard and his family for making a weekend break feel like a home from home. The lodge that we stayed in was of top standards and left us wanting for nothing. A relaxing environment along with wonderful views of the countryside, oh and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake.
Thank you once again and we look forward to visiting again.

An excellent location for a complete rest. Plenty of peace and quiet and the lodge was spotless with everything you needed - a credit to the owners. On arrival we were even left a pint of milk and tea and coffee for our first cuppa. We stayed in February when the weather was really cold but our lodge was so warm and cosy we were tempted to stay in. The hot tub, what can I say apart from WOW, its just so relaxing!

We spent New Year at Belan Bach and had a fantastic holiday, despite being snowed in for 5 days! We stayed in Derwen Lodge and the standard of the accommodation was excellent. The hot tub really made this holiday something special!

Fabulous accommodation, clean and well prepared by the owners and the hot tub is massive! The views of the hills and seclusion of the place with the sounds of the river made this the perfect place for relaxing, yet it is within driving distance for activities for the kids. We couldn't fault this accommodation.

The accommodation was just what was needed, away from it all and total relaxation. The staff were very helpful and the accommodation was extremely clean and plush.

The lodges are furnished to a high standard and are perfectly placed for visiting Ullswater and Windermere.

I would definitely recommend this holiday for anyone who wants to simply relax. The facilities are very good in the lodge and it is easy to just spend all your time there. The hot tub is amazing and was loved by my 5 year old daughter who spent most of her time in it!! Lake Vyrnwy is only 10 minutes drive and is a MUST see while your there! A drink on the balcony of the hotel is essential as the views are truly breathtaking. The owner was lovely and was on the end of the phone anytime we needed to ask anything. Go, relax and enjoy - I will most definitely be booking another break there in the future and have already recommended it to all my friends!

Fantastic facilities and the owner gave us a very warm welcome. It was like being at home but without the hassle - I don't chill out, but I did here!

Everything about this place is 5 star - the lodge, the top of the range hot tub, the location, the views, quality of fixtures fittings - absolutely everything is faultless and even the most manic person would find it hard not to relax here!

Beautiful views in a relaxing, peaceful and tranquil setting. The standard and cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent and the hot tub was a bonus!

It is the most peaceful and restful place ever!

Lodge with one double with ensuite shower one twin and one twin that converts to king size double &ndash - please request when booking. Bath with overhead shower. Decking with garden furniture. Outdoor hot tub. No pets.
