We would recommend Finlake to anyone who just wants to relax and have fun. The surroundings and accommodation was beautiful, and the staff were very pleasent and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We only went for a week but could easily of stay a further week. Our children loved it there and made plenty of friends, we will definitely be going back to Finlake!

York has excellent activities, shops, facilities and ammenities, as well as sights and attractions in the near surroundings, and being a small City makes everything readily accessible.

The park is in a lovely location and the facilities such as the swimming pool and golf were first class. There were also lots of attractions within a 20 mile radius of the park.

These beautiful lodges are positioned on a clean, safe and picturesque park. There's a good balance of being able to relax on park with the benefit of a selection of good attractions and coastal resorts nearby. River Dart Adventure Park is recommendable and mountain biking through Haldon Forrest. The best sandy beaches can be found at Bigbury on Sea and Goodrington Sands. The 'Retreat' restaurant on site serves an excellent menu with welcoming staff. A truly wonderful holiday which won't be our last!!
