A beautiful park which you feel is in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only 2 miles from York City centre. Superb accommodation and great value for money.

Very relaxing and a peaceful holiday. The lodges are of a very high standard and the location is excellent to enjoy York and the rest of Yorkshire. The nearby park and ride can have you into the center of York in 10 minutes!

A beautiful location and ideal if you are a fisherman. A very comfortable base for taking day trips into York and the surrounding areas via a park and ride at Tesco's car park.

What a great facility, even if you do not fish. Park and ride facilities, shopping facilities are all within walking distance and there are areas for kids to play in front of lodges with other kids, smf you can still keep an eye on them. A great facility with a quiet sense of community.

This holiday was booked as a treat for my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary and a wonderful time was had by all! The view over the lake from our Lodge was fantastic, especially at sunset. Well worth the 5 hour drive!

It is very close to york city centre, and the lake is excellent for fishing (my son caught two massive carps)

The park, lake and surroundings were peaceful and lovely. We were left in peace to get on with our holiday. Although secluded, the park was very close to shops and transport.
Accomodation Details:
Detached lodge with either one double and one twin or two twin. Double sofa bed in the lounge area. Dishwasher.
