Far reaching views towards the hills and 11th century castle of Roquetaillade.8 km drive to the Catalan, - vibrant town of Limoux with restaurants and bars and a local market held on a Friday with a good range of local foods and crafts shops. Don&rsquo - t forget to taste the local Blanquette de Limoux which is local champagne style drink, - ideal for aperitifs! The surrounding hills are ideal for nature lovers as well as hiking and biking enthusiasts. The lush valleys of this area have a temperate climate less prone to high temperatures of the nearby coast. Don&rsquo - t miss a visit to the fortified city of Carcassonne, - 31 km, - with its amazing castles, - pretty gift shops, - cafes and restaurants as well as historical and cultural activities throughout the summer. The well known Canal du Midi is33 km and great for cycling or walking. International airport: Carcassonne 30km.
Group of 3 recently built wooden chalet style cottages of beautiful quality located high on a hilltop on the grounds of a renowned working vineyard. Each cottage is well separated for privacy and each has a magnificent view over the valley below. Each chalet has a wooden decking for outside dining leading to a small private south facing pool 5.5m X 3.5m x 1.20m depth with security alarm. BBQ. Note that there 3 / 4 wind turbines approx 1km behind these cottages - the cottages, - terraces and pools all face the opposite direction and these do not impinge on views in any way. Private parking.
