Villa Accomodation Details:
Situated just 6kms from Belvè - s with shops, - restaurants and Saturday morning markets. It was once of strategic importance, - encircled by ramparts on a promontory above the Nauze valley and bristling with seven towers - even the central square is called &ldquo - place des Armes&rdquo - ! In the ramparts are the Troglodyte houses once the dwelling of families and animals alike between the 12th and 17th centuries. There are a few restaurants just a few min drive at Soirac and if by chance you are here the second half of July there is Bach Festival. A short drive will take you to Cadouin with it&rsquo - s Abbey, - Castelnaud and Beynac châ - teaux. The medieval town of Sarlat is 40km. The area is ideal for those enjoying walking. International airport: Bergerac 50km.
The property is situated in St Foy de Belvè - s which is a sleepy little hamlet. Converted barn with pretty views over the rolling hills. Covered parking and an open terrace with a built in BBQ. Private swimming pool with security alarm 12 x 6 x 1-2m depth and even an area to play &ldquo - Boules&rdquo - .
Property has retained much of the original layout, - adding simple style and comfort to the authentic charm of this attractive beamed and stone walled house. Entrance to the property via the living/dining room with comfortable sofa. Country style kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. French windows leading to terrace. Washing machine in laundry room off kitchen. Bed 1: double with ensuite shower and basin. Sep WC. Stairs off the living room lead to first floor. Bed 2: 2 singles. Bed 3: 2 singles. Both of these rooms have beamed ceilings. Shower/WC. Cot and highchair on request. Anyday start, - 7 night min stay. (Saturday arrival in May, - July and August)
