Villa Accomodation Details:
Fondettes 2 km for nearest shops, - with several restaurants within easy reach. For the sports-minded, - there are tennis courts 3 km from the property, - horse-riding 5 km, - or 3 golf courses within approx 20 min drive. Tours 9 km for all shopping, - cultural activities, - antique shops and short cruises on the Loire.55 min by TGV from Tours to Paris. Wonderful walking country, - and centrally placed for visits to many Loire châ - teaux. Famous Villandry gardens 18 km, - or wine-tasting at Vouvray 14 km. International airports: Tours 10 km/Poitiers 105 km, - or Paris CDG 1hr 25 min by TGV to Tours.
Peaceful, - south-facing C18th farmhouse adjoining owners' - ' - home with use of its 2 hectare beautiful flower and tree-filled park. Wonderful views across sweeping lawns to the Loire, - and a 200m walk around the garden to the pool, - 14 x 6 x 0.9-2.6m depth with security immersion alarm and diving board (not for clients use). The pool is also sometimes used by owner' - ' - s family. Swing, - trapeze and table tennis in clients' - ' - area of garden and large lawn area for games in front of owners' - ' - house. BBQ.
Well-renovated, - comfortable accommodation with lovely beamed ceilings, - stone walls and some period furniture. Spacious living/dining room with comfortable sofa, - chairs, - TV, - dining furniture. Kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, - combined microwave/grill, - 4 ceramic hobs. Sep WC. Bed 1: 2 singles (access via Bed 2 or from outside). Bed 2: 2 singles, - can be pushed together. Bath/WC. Entrance to all 3 rooms from outside. Stairs to 1st floor, - Bed 3: carpeted, - wide double (can make 2 narrow singles), - ensuite bath/WC. Above living room, - ladder-type stairs to mezzanine with narrow single. Cot and highchair on request. Any day start (Saturday arrival in July and August), - 7 night min stay.
