Lovely, - unspoilt area which attracts nature lovers and landscape artists wth the picturesque village of Crozant 8 min drive for small shops and restaurant. Wider selection at Dun-le-Palestel 15 min. Canoeing on the River Creuse nearby. Sandy beach and water sports, - bike hire and nightlife at Lac d' - ' - Eguzon 20 min drive. Horse riding at St Sé - bastien 18 km.18-hole golf course and motor racing school with circuit at La Châ - tre 40 km. Beautiful village of Nohant - famous birthplace of writer Georges Sand - 45 min drive. For interesting day trips, - the Loire châ - teaux await you, - or Futuroscope is approx 90 min drive. International airports Limoges 97 km/Poitiers 140 km.
This superb large manor house built in the 1920' - ' - s has been entirely renovated by present owners. House is situated in a large area of immaculate unfenced parkland within an agricultural estate, - has lovely views across the nearby river valley and terraces to sit and enjoy the sun. Staff lodge near front entrance, - outbuildings for storage, - stables and all-weather tennis court. Pool 12 x 6 x 2m depth with poolside shower and security fence and both sun terrace and a covered terrace for outdoor dining. BBQ.
Steps up to front porch leading to large entrance hall with full-size billiards table. Very spacious sitting room with sofas, - armchairs and fireplace. Dining area with large bay windows overlooking the valley. Study/TV room with satellite TV, - typically French country period furniture. Large modern fitted kitchen/breakfast room with dishwasher, - microwave. Utility/laundry room with washing machine. Sep WC. Lovely staircase up to mezzanine with library.
