Villa Accomodation Details:
Local shops, - supermarket, - excellent restaurants, - tennis in the pretty Bastide market town of Cazals 4 km which also has an attractive swimming lake with sandy beach, - as does Catus 13 km. Superbly situated between the Dordogne and Lot valleys with all their attractions - châ - teaux, - prehistoric man features and water pursuits such as canoeing, - kayaking, - fishing etc. Well placed for trying many of the gastronomic delights this region offers - foie gras, - duck and aromatic cheeses in the many highly reputed restaurants within easy reach. International airports: Bergerac 85 km/Rodez 127 km/Toulouse 145km.

This beautifully renovated stone farmhouse with pigeonnier is at the end of a quiet lane in a tiny hamlet, - with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. It is furnished with traditional French antiques to create a home of great style and comfort. Gardens with ornamental and fruit trees, - and its own vineyard. Gravelled walled courtyard flanked by large barn, - converted to provide extra accommodation, - games room, - table tennis and stone bakery. Traditional covered terraces front and rear, - each suitable for al fresco dining. Gated access to rear sun terrace and fenced saline pool 10 x 5 x 1-2.2m depth with security immersion alarm and roman steps. BBQ.

Beamed sitting room with sofa, - armchairs, - UK satellite TV, - DVD, - fireplace with wood-burner. Open-plan dining room with fully-fitted farmhouse kitchen area, - microwave, - dishwasher, - door to rear raised terrace and pool. Utility room with washing machine and WC. Stairs from dining room to 1st floor, - stairgate at top. Bed 1: double. Bed 2: 2 wide antique singles, - ensuite bath/shower/WC. Bed 3: small with 2 singles. Hanging space for Bed 3 on landing. Bathroom. Sep WC. All 1st floor bedrooms have sloping ceilings with some areas of low headroom and low doorways. Sep WC under main house. Converted barn, - attached to house but with access from outside, - Bed 4: 2 singles, - magnificent room (original cow stalls!) with stone fireplace and table tennis. Stairs from Bed 4 to Bed 5: four-poster double and antique wide single - ensuite bath/shower/WC. Cot and highchair available please ask at time of booking.

Heating if required must be paid for before departure. Cost is £ - 50 per week and is for wood burning stove only and must be requested at the time of booking.

Please note there is no heating in the barn area.
