Villa Accomodation Details:
Located in the small hamlet of Loupiac in the Lot valley famous for wine-making and considered by some as the undiscovered jewel of South West France. Shops, - restaurants, - supermarkets, - banks and post office can be found just 3 km away in the nearby medieval town of Puy-L&rsquo - Eveque on the banks of the river Lot. The ancient town of Cahors, - famous for its wine and medieval bridge, - is 35 km. Further north the famous Rocamadour 70 km is built into a spectacular cliff and also worth a visit. Canoes for hire all along this part of the Lot valley. This whole region is a delight with its châ - teaux, - winding rivers and gastronomic delicacies. International airports: Bergerac 82 km/Toulouse 150 km/Bordeaux 195 km.
Contemporary, - spacious and newly-furnished three-storey house adjacent to FG291 but totally independent making it ideal for larger parties or 2 families travelling together. Formerly a small watercress farm originally built in 1846 - the original Pigeonnier still exists and is a typical architectural feature of properties in this region. The idyllic garden houses a large private swimming pool 8 x 4 x 1.0 - 1.5m depth with security cover and ample gravelled terrace. Beyond this the garden extends a further acre which opens onto parking area for 3 cars (care with small children due to road). Gas BBQ for outside dining. Garage - not for client&rsquo - s use. Private off-road parking.
Stunning interior with luxurious mixture of oak and limestone floors throughout. Lower ground floor offers a superb modern kitchen with island and high quality fittings as well as 2 dishwashers, - washing machine, - microwave, - wine fridge and American style fridge/freezer. Adjacent shower room/WC. Dining area for 8 and further seating area with satellite flat screen TV (English channels). Doors to pool terrace and gardens. Stairs lead to the ground floor and lounge area furnished with rich brown leather furniture, - satellite plasma TV with English channels and DVD. Bed 1: double with hallway leading to en-suite bathroom and sep WC. Stairs to first floor and study on landing. Bed 2: double with walk-in wardrobe and large luxury en-suite bathroom with WC, - roll-top bath and separate glass shower cubicle Bed 3: 2 singles with en-suite shower and WC. Bedroom 4: double (can also be set up as a twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC. French doors to balcony with views of surrounding countryside. Cot and highchair available on request. Air-conditioning in all rooms except for kitchen. Anyday arrival, - 7 night min stay except for early April and June - Sept when Saturday changeover.
Linen: Included with towels. A chargeable welcome hamper is available, - and can be ordered when booking.
