Villa Accomodation Details:
Located in the small hamlet of Loupiac in the Lot valley famous for wine-making and considered by some as the undiscovered jewel of South West France. Shops, - restaurants, - supermarkets, - banks and post office can be found just 3 km away in the nearby medieval town of Puy-L&rsquo - Eveque on the banks of the river Lot. The ancient town of Cahors, - famous for its wine and medieval bridge, - is 35 km. Further north the famous Rocamadour 70 km is built into a spectacular cliff and also worth a visit. Canoes for hire all along this part of the Lot valley. This whole region is a delight with its châ - teaux, - winding rivers and gastronomic delicacies. International airports: Bergerac 82 km/Toulouse 150 km/Bordeaux 195 km.
Originally the Parsonage for the church in Loupiac, - which used to be situated in the square at the bottom of the garden, - this rustic house dates back to 1832, - however sections of the lower level are from mediaeval times. An independent house located next door to FG290 making it ideal for larger parties or 2 families travelling together. Secluded fully enclosed garden with private pool 8 x 4 x 1.0 - 1.5m and security cover, - relaxing lounging terrace, - gas BBQ and a fascinating natural pond at the bottom of the garden which is home to an array of wildlife. (Care with small children needed). Brick-built storage shed - not for client&rsquo - s use. Private off-road parking.
Recently renovated whilst retaining its original features including exposed oak beams, - tiled terracotta floors and large feature open fireplace. Lower ground floor houses kitchen with American fridge/freezer, - dishwasher and washing machine. Very comfortable lounge area furnished with rich brown leather sofas and LCD satellite TV with English channels, - DVD and wood burning stove. Dining room and feature fireplace with stairs to ground floor. Bed 1: double with shower/WC. Bed 2: double. Bed 3: Double. Large family bathroom with sep WC. Cot and highchair available on request. Heating available on request. Anyday arrival, - 7 night min stay available except for early April and June - Sept when Saturday changeover.
Linen: Included with towels. A chargeable welcome hamper is available, - and can be ordered when booking.
